My postcard

My new motorbike

Mum, Brodie and I got in the car and we were off.

Two hours later we were having  breakfast at a

fancy breakfast bar. Brodie and l got pancakes

and mum got bacon and eggs. We got back in the

car and four hours later we were in Cromwell.

I went  to the bedroom I was sleeping in and I took

the bed on the left. Callum and dad were coming

down in two days time. Granddad and I

went to his orchard and picked some cherries

for mum and nana. Two days later dad and Callum were here in Cromwell. I gave them both a hug. Dad brought the sea boat with him. I went inside it and I was breathless because there was a motorbike in the back. We went straight to the orchard and to ride my new bike Callum and Brodie drove granddads scooter/moped.we had lots of fun and I got a bit muddy. Five days later it was Christmas two days after that mum and Callum left because Callum  had swimming and mum had work. Dad, Brodie and I went to Dunedin To some friends jed,s family and Estelle,s family was there and later that night we went hunting.

We got 2 pigs. The next day we went on a motorbike Trip down the bottom of our friends farm.That day we went to a motorbike shop and we got me some new gear/helmet,boots and gloves. I was so excited to try my new gear on when I did I looked good in it. The next day it was  new year's eve We stayed up to 12:00 and that is when the party just started. Luke, Ben A and Todd's Inquiry Project

Jet-Boating Time

Mum, Dad, Hannah, Callum, Brodie, me and the Santy family - Estelle, Ben, Mark and Erika.

We drove down to the Oxford river/Waimak river.

Dad backed the boat and trailer into the river. Mum took

the wheel and Dad drove the jet boat off the boat.

Mum drove the truck and trailer out of the water

and the Santys did the same thing. Dad and Mark

yelled out “hurry up” we all jumped in the boats and set off down river. Dad said there is no point to go up river more because there was a pebble garden up ahead so we all spun around and went back up river and found

a swimming hole. Estelle and I had a look on the other

side of the swimming hole. I was walking along the sand

and then I fell in knee deep sinking sand and so did Estelle. We swam back to the other side of the swimming hole and started  jumping off the back of the

boats in to the deep cold water only with shorts on.

Then we had some lunch I had a sandwich and chips then we went back and put the boat on the trailer. Then we got ice creams from the Darfield dairy.
